Are you ready to make a meaningful impact by supporting children to reach their full potential? Learning Links, a leading Australian charity, is seeking experienced and passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors.
With over 50 years of experience, Learning Links provides critical support to children experiencing difficulties with their learning and development. We deliver a range of evidence-based programs, including speech therapy, counselling, specialist tutoring, and parent education across centres in Sydney, NSW schools, and online platforms.
As a registered NDIS provider, we are committed to delivering high-quality, inclusive services that support children and their families to reach their goals. Learning Links also operates a community preschool and supported playgroup funded by the NSW Government, providing a supportive and nurturing environment to help young children thrive.
Our work is further supported by partnerships with NSW clubs - including funding through Charity Housie and ClubGRANTS. We also receive support from trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and funding from both Federal and State Governments, enabling us to deliver vital programs to children in disadvantaged communities.

Learning Links is at a pivotal stage in its journey, with a focus on national expansion, integrating digital platforms, and driving operational efficiency to maximise impact.
We are seeking new directors to strengthen our board as we scale our services and embark on a digital transformation journey. As a board member, you will play a critical role in shaping our strategy, ensuring robust governance, and driving innovative approaches to service delivery and organisational growth.
We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in:
Lived experience of learning difficulties, disability, or supporting children and families in similar contexts is highly desirable and will enrich our board’s understanding and decision-making.
Previous Board experience and governance qualifications such as the AICD Company Directors course are preferred. Applicants are expected to have a clear commitment to the work of Learning Links, the not-for-profit sector and be willing and able to make an active ongoing contribution to the organisation.
This is a voluntary role requiring attendance at bi-monthly board meetings (held in Sydney or virtually) and active participation in relevant subcommittees.
