We are looking for a positive, bubbly and committed disability support worker to assist our clients to achieve their best life.
Our participants love social outings, eating out, and enjoying activities with housemates and other important people in their lives.
Our 4 female participants live in a lovely and homely shared accommodation home in Doncaster and require support with all aspects of daily living – including meals, physical support needs, health & medical needs, personal care and active support.
The house has a very experienced staffing team who have worked with the participants for a long period of time, have strong relationships with families and stakeholders and are ready and willing to provide positive mentoring support to you in your disability worker role.
You will need to be able to work collaboratively within a team to continue to develop yourself professionally within the disability sector and advocate for client centred care.
You will facilitate high quality services and achieve positive outcomes with and for our residents. The resident support needs vary in terms of levels of independence, including engagement in community participation.
If you’re passionate about working with vulnerable people, refining your skills as a carer by stepping into a disability support worker role, with leadership pathways, peer to peer coaching and mentoring, and a strong network of professional support, then we would love you to join our team!
You will have support in place to assist you in achieving your career objective within the sector, achieve work/life balance, and manage your wellbeing.
You will be expected to work within a defined scope of responsibilities and demonstrate self-awareness, accountability, and adaptability to feedback and continuous improvement to your practice as a Disability Support Worker.

This is a part time position.
Roster splits are: 33:45/45:30 – This roster line is a mix of morning & afternoon shifts. You will be required to work 2 weekends per monthly roster.
