Working in a Supported Independent Living Setting in Toowoomba, you will support a male client in his home with various activities including daily living, community access, medication assistance and transportation. We encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander decent to apply, who can work with the client we support on connection to culture, kin, and country. These shifts are permanent part time, across a 24/7 rotating roster Monday – Sunday, availability to work weekends and sleepover shifts is essential.
You will be a proactive and passionate support worker that reflects the LWB values and is eager to make a difference by engaging and building strong relationships with the people we support.
To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.
