About the Organisation

Life Without Barriers is a leading social purpose, not for profit organisation of 7,000 employees working in more than 440 communities across Australia. We support children, young people and families, people with disability, older people and people with mental illness. We work with people who are homeless and refugees and asylum seekers.

We want to employ people who reflect the diversity of our clients to ensure we can support each client's individual needs and wants.

We encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with disability to apply.

About the role

LWB has recently expanded our services to operate a Transitional High Needs 24/7 care model. This model of care is for young people (aged 11yrs – 17yrs) under child protection care by the State that require specialised 1:1 support due to their complex needs and trauma.

As we expand our services in this area of care, we require a House Manager to run our Transitional High Needs residential care properties along with a short stay crisis accommodation residential service called ARYA. We currently run houses in Canningvale and will look to expand NOR soon.

The High Needs Transitional houses work on a 24/7 care model while ARYA is an overnight only accommodation service.  Your role will be to manage the houses and staff that support our clients in each model of care.

This will be an opportunity for you to stretch your extensive skills and knowledge of supporting adolescents in a challenging environment, as we look to overhaul our existing services and expand in this specialised area.
