Little Droppings is a circular economy start-up in Adelaide, our mission is to make it easy for new parents to use cloth nappies – and reduce epic amounts of waste. We provide a nappy service all around Adelaide: it’s a door-to-door loan and laundry service.

We’ve clocked over 30 tonnes of waste to landfill avoided! We're a small business with a big impact on reducing waste!

What’s the role?

We’re looking for people interested in supporting our mission! In the first instance – we’re looking for another casual employee to join the team.

What will you be doing?

You will be supporting new parents by providing a door-to-door nappy service. The key part of the role is delivering fresh nappies to lovely families around Adelaide which mainly means a quick drop off, but sometimes includes warm chats with new parents, and cuddles with bubs! Folding and packing nappies is also a big component of the role! Think cups of tea, music playing and being surrounded by piles of cute nappies!

How many hours per week?

8 hours a week with flexible start and end times. These hours can be split over Monday and Tuesday, or completed entirely on Tuesday. We're very open to discuss how we can support you by adjusting the hours to suit your needs. We are a family friendly business, and absolutely understand that family needs come first.

Who will you be working with?

The team consists of Jacqui (the business owner) and Loni (the business 'all round' supporter). You can be guaranteed that Little Droppings is a warm, fun, meaning-driven workplace that embraces diversity and flexibility.

Where is the workplace?

“Queen Machine” – our amazing industrial washing machine is housed in a warehouse on Port Road. We share a warehouse with other businesses at The Warehouse Co (co-warehousing space).

What else do we do?

From March 2023, we've been providing our nappy service to childcare centres as well (we’re up to 3 centres now) around Adelaide. Yay! We're stoked to be helping reduce the environmental impact of nappies in this new context.
