The Long Gully Neighbourhood Centre Inc. is a non-profit organisation governed by a voluntary Committee and managed on a daily basis by a Coordinator.

We are looking for an experienced part-time (12 hours/week) CD Worker who will be responsible for identifying the needs of the communities, developing and implementing relevant services, programs and strategies to meet these needs. It will also include assisting to edit the fortnightly New Beginnings Newsletter and managing some of our communications (both online and in print).

We are seeking someone with:

• Tertiary qualifications in Community Development (or similar) and/or relevant experience in Community Development roles
• Demonstrated abilities and experience in strengthening communities through community development and capacity building
• Experience in developing and coordinating projects
• High level of written and oral communication skills, including experience in Newsletter editing and developing social media/website content
