About the role

As an independent Verifier, you will be taking a key role in supporting and maintaining Quality Assurance (QA) services in government funded programs with a focus on continuous improvement.

Salary range: $72,000 to $76,000 for a part-time position 0.8 (4 days per week).

This role will suit you if you enjoy travel and working in a complex environment with competing demands whilst delivering a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

We expect the incumbent to build autonomy in the role. Interstate Travel within Australia is required for this role.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director and Program Contract Manager your duties will include:

  • Examining and reviewing client files to ensure providers are meeting contractual compliance and performance requirements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement among providers by assisting them to develop and refine their training and assessment planning and practices
  • Providing feedback to providers on QA assurance outcomes
  • Assisting with the development of Professional Development Workshop materials and activities
  • Always maintaining strict confidentiality

Required Work and Educational Experience:

  • Graduate Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education, Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy, Graduate Certificate or higher-level qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language (TESOL)
  • TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and Assessment with a specialisation in design and development or equivalent
  • At least 3 years full time equivalent experience in teaching in TESOL or adult literacy programs at adult, secondary or pre-tertiary level
  • Demonstrated experience in design and development of LLND courses
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check
