Job Description:

An exceptional opportunity awaits a highly experienced Area Manager to join our team and drive excellence in our service delivery. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee the operations in your designated area, ensuring the highest standards of client care and support while leading a team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of support workers.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Address staff concerns promptly and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Participant Management:

  • Oversee the intake process of new participants and ensure all documentation meets compliance requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with participants, their families, and their care teams to promote positive outcomes.
  • Advocate for participants’ rights and ensure high service standards are maintained.

Operational Oversight:

  • Analyse data related to service delivery and participant outcomes to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement crisis management plans and oversee the management of incidents and Workplace Health and Safety issues.
  • Ensure effective use and training of technology systems for scheduling, reporting, and communication.

Community Engagement:

  • Represent Lyft Community at community events and build relationships with local stakeholders.
  • Promote awareness of our services within the community.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay informed about changes in NDIS regulations and ensure the organisation adapts accordingly.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the NDIS or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to remain ‘on call’ for after-hours emergency support on a rotational basis.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
