Administration Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our school team, International Maarif Schools of Australia new school in Kilmore. This pivotal role ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations and provides essential support across various functions, including student services, staff assistance, and administrative coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial point of contact for the school, managing general enquiries from students, parents, and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Administrative Tasks: Undertake general office duties such as data entry, maintaining attendance records, and managing schedules.
- Student Enquiries & Enrolments: Handle student enquiries with accuracy, manage the enrolment process, and maintain up-to-date student records.
- Bookkeeping: Assist with financial transactions, fee collection, and reconciliation, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and reporting.
- Correspondences & Communications: Draft and manage correspondences, including emails, newsletters, and announcements, maintaining clear and effective communication with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Staff Support: Provide administrative assistance to teaching and support staff, such as preparing materials, scheduling meetings, and coordinating events.
- School Events and Functions: Assist in the organisation of school events and functions, ensuring smooth execution and attention to detail.
- General Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, including supplies management, filing, and ensuring compliance with school policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, student management systems).
- Basic bookkeeping or financial administration experience.

Salary: $90,000 (inclusive of superannuation)
