As a Coordinator of Community Safety, you will be joining the Community Safety Manager and three other Alice Springs based Coordinators, responsible for coordinating the effective delivery of Community Safety programs in designated MacDonnell Regional Council communities and ensure that the responsibilities of this position are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation, Council policies and procedures, contractual requirements, and the core values of the Council.
You will ideally have a keen interest in learning about Aboriginal culture, at least 12 months of experience in a similar role and hold a current C Class drivers Licence. The ideal candidate will also have a high level of communication skills and ability to foster collaborative frameworks with community stakeholders, including training and mentoring staff with different levels of literacy and numeracy.
