Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change arising from population growth and redevelopment. A transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses, and employment opportunities that is seeing Maribyrnong fast becoming a sought after residential, recreation and social destination in Melbourne's inner-west.
Our Maternal and Child Health team is calling for expressions of interest from qualified and enthusiastic Immunisation Nurses to join our casual pool. You will work collaboratively to strengthen the wellbeing of children, young people and families within the City of Maribyrnong, by providing a comprehensive program to minimise the risk of vaccine-preventable diseases.
This position requires a high standard of clinical expertise and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of practice directions at a local, state and federal level. To be successful, you will also have well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex vaccine information in plain language, whilst working effectively with a culturally and linguistically diverse range of parents and children with individual needs.
Apply now to make a genuine difference in a community-focused organisation and to join a highly experienced and passionate team.
