However if you are really looking for a second job for more hours, we are not the service for you as we only use our own staff and work with a dedicated team to support participants to live how they want. We will fully support and train staff to be able to achieve our participants goals. We foster staff development and further career directions.

The role

We are seeking an experienced Support workers to join our teams in Clyde Nth/Berwick/Officer. The role will require working on a rotating roster, including your share of active nights/sleepovers. Primary responsibilities will be to provide support to our NDIS participants within our Supported Independent Living accommodation. This will include behaviour management, community access, transportation, cooking, some domestic assistance, companionship, manual handling, personal care, complex health care, PEG feeds, catheter car and ileostomy care, You will also be required to work sleepovers or active nights.We share them amongst the team.

Pay rate - $30 - $34.99 SCHADS Award rates and shift loading apply. We have casual, permanent part-time and full-time roles available. Pay rates vary based upon your employment status.

Essential Criteria

Must have

  • Full Australian Drivers License
  • NDIS workers Screening Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Working With Children’s Check
  • Completion of NDIS Workers Orientation training by NDIS Commission
  • Completion of NDIS Workers Infection Control training by NDIS Commission
  • COVID Vaccination
  • Relevant Qualification in disability or Aged Care
  • Access to Smart Phone
