More about the role:

The Senior People and Culture Business Partner will take ownership of all day-to-day activities across the People and Culture function. The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strengthening and maintaining effective relationships across the Foundation and with core People and Culture suppliers.
  • Supporting the Foundation’s strategy by partnering with managers and team members to drive consistent and effective People and Culture practices.
  • Driving a positive, supportive and open organisational culture and provide insights to achieve individual and organisational objectives.
  • Keeping abreast of government and best practice people and culture progress and recommending / embedding change as appropriate.
  • Promoting life-long learning and providing the team with opportunities to expand their professional development.

This is a fixed term contract until the end of August 2025, based in the Sydney CBD. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with the team working 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a mix of the following experience, qualifications, and skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in People and Culture, Human Resources or a related discipline and / or Australian Human Resources Institute Certification.
  • At least five years’ experience in a People and Culture Business Partner role, providing strategic insights and support to senior stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of employment legislation and people and culture best practices.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including problem solving and conflict resolution.
