As a Clinical Trial Assistant, you will play an important role in liaising with senior researchers, managing diverse inquiries, and driving operational efficiency to support pivotal research initiatives. The role is vital to supporting senior research staff and coordinating various research activities. The Clinical Trial Assistant will work closely with both internal teams and external collaborators, requiring a high level of initiative, professionalism, and discretion.

This role is offered on a 12-month contract and we are looking for someone to fill 22.8 hours (0.6 FTE) to full time hours.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support to various research activities
  • Assist in relevant research activities to ensure the efficient operation of projects, including participant recruitment, research visits, study monitoring, and data verification
  • Actively contribute to a positive and professional work environment that fosters teamwork, high quality outputs, continuous improvement, and job satisfaction

What we need from you:

  • Completion of bachelor’s degree in science, health, or related discipline
  • Experience in the provision of administrative support in the research sector, preferably in a multi-institutional environment
  • Experience with REDCAP is desired
  • Previous experience in clinical trial is high regarded
