The Macedonian Community Welfare Association Inc. (MCWA) has been providing services to the Macedonian community since the early 1980s. The organisation is governed by a Board of Directors, that are elected according to the requirements set out in our Constitution. The organisation operates at a state level and head office is located in Maribyrnong, 3032, VIC.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This position will work closely with the MCWA management and finance team to deliver precise and timely financial reports as well as provide financial recommendations and directions for the organisation's growth and development.

Responsibilities for this position include however; are not limited to:

• Financial and management strategies and reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Identify and implement new opportunities for a solid financial structure
• Develop, maintain and implement financial policies and procedures
• Improve financial processes through automation and technology
• Work with the financial auditors

Selection Criteria:

• A tertiary degree in Accounting or related field
• CA / CPA qualification
• Xero certified advisor and / or Xero experience
• A valid Police certificate
• Drivers license
