About the role

Are you an administrator looking for a new challenge? We invite you to apply for this exciting new role with Maryborough District Health Service which will champion and drive the organisations diversity, gender and inclusion strategies. The role is the lead for MDHS’ action plans for gender equality and diversity & inclusion and will work with key stakeholders both internal and external to champion our plans and drive implementation.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or equivalent extensive experience ideally gained in a diverse service industry organisation.
  • Highly developed organisational skills that include time management, staff supervision, strategic planning, facilitation, evaluation and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work and encourage staff to work in an effective and efficient team environment, demonstrated ability to consult with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated proactive and positive communicator, with exceptional skills in all levels of communication, written, oral, public relations, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • A high level of professionalism in preparation of correspondence, reports and presentations.
  • Proven experience in strategic thinking, planning and operationally.
  • Experience in a similar Diversity & Inclusion and Gender Equality role

Desirable

  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Experience within the health sector
  • An in depth understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
