The Women’s Early Intervention Service delivered by Anglicare Southern Queensland provides housing-focused support for women.
The Women’s Senior Case Manager sits in the Court Innovation Program in the Department of Justice. In this role you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of Court Link as a dedicated women’s case manager.
In this dedicated role working with women participating in the Court Link program, you will be responsible for the assessment and case management of women with complex needs including the provision of interventions to address issues related to offending behaviour. Women’s social needs, particularly those of women in contact with the justice system, are often related to experiences of gender-based violence, specifically domestic and family violence and sexual violence.
This role requires the development of strong linkages with the community services support sector. In particular, the Women’s Early Intervention Service delivered by Anglicare Southern Queensland, which provides housing-focused support for women to prevent them entering the custodial system. The women’s case manager will be a primary referral point for this service.
