Melbourne City Mission’s Palliative Care was established in 1981 as the first community-based palliative care service to operate in Victoria. Melbourne City Mission Palliative Care provides an individualised service response to enhance the quality of life of people who are at the end stage of their illness by providing specialist, interdisciplinary health care and practical support. This may include managing complex issues that the end of life presents to the client, their family, and carers. We are seeking an engaged and proactive staff member to join our Client Support Administration Team The service is provided to residents of the local government areas of Darebin, Hume, Moreland, and Yarra.
The Client Support Administrator is responsible for providing front line administrative support and a high level of customer service to clients, carers, staff, and external stakeholders. The role plays an integral part in the overall functioning of the Palliative Care service with responsibilities spanning client interface, information management including data entry and processing; office supply and equipment management; accounts and invoice entry. A component of the role is to work within the Palliative Care Liaison team to provide administrative support to the Liaison Nurse.
