The Disability Advice and Response Team (DART) assists the Children’s Court to identify when a young person has a disability and will enable the stakeholders to be better informed about the young person’s disability. The DART Psychologist provides a specialist short term assessment service for young people in the youth justice system with a potential undiagnosed disability. The DART Psychologist works in partnership with DART workers (employed by MCM or VALS), court-based stakeholders and families, valuing their skills, knowledge and involvement.
MCM and the DART Team are seeking to employ an experienced Psychologist with (3 -5) years post graduate experience, who has a passion for providing compassionate, considered and high-quality short-term assessment services for young people in the youth justice system.
