Established in July 2024, PYMHWS is a newly created public health service, the first of its kind in Australia, dedicated to the provision of mental health and wellbeing services to young people aged 12 to 25 with complex mental illness in the north and west of metropolitan Melbourne.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is currently recruiting for the position of Financial Reporting Manager on behalf of the Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS). This role will officially transition to PYMHWS on 1 July 2025.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects related to PYMHWS’s financial accounting, reporting and compliance activities. You will also lead a small team to ensure that financial statements and reports are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory reporting standards.

Understanding of the mental health sector and, in particular, youth mental health desirable but not required
