About the Graduate Program

Successful applicants will be offered a two-year contract – spending 12 months in one team, then rotating to another team for the second 12 months. The program aims to offer early career clinicians experience and training in specialised areas of youth mental health.

  • Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills, as well as clear verbal and written communication skills.

About you

  • You are a recent Occupational Therapist Graduate or early career OT with less than two years’ experience post qualification.
  • You have an approved Degree from a recognised school of Occupational Therapy or other qualifications approved for eligibility for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia. Applications will be accepted from final year students who expect to complete the qualification prior to the position commencing in January 2025.
  • Registration as an occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (Proof of pending registration is required for newly graduated therapists).
  • An interest in working with youth experiencing complex mental health difficulties, and their families.
  • A full driver’s licence.
