  • Work in the leafy suburb of Travancore.

This position is based at Norfolk Terrace, Community Care Units (CCU) at Travancore. The CCU is a twelve-unit, twenty-bed residential facility for mid to long-term psychiatric rehabilitation. Consumers have a range of presenting concerns including trauma and complex trauma, and psychotic conditions.This is a unique opportunity to provide medium to long-term psychological therapy for consumers with an array of presenting issues.

You will join a well-functioning and supportive multi-disciplinary team, all of whom are passionate about supporting consumers to achieve their recovery goals.You will have the opportunity to build and promote psychological assessment, formulation and treatment.

You will be part of the broader Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services psychology department with excellent opportunities for collaboration and ongoing professional development.

Your new role:

  • Provide discipline specific assessment, formulation and treatment in individual and group formats.
  • Deliver innovative groups alongside allied health and other colleagues.
  • receive high quality supervision and professional development opportunities across both internal and external PD events and activities.

About you:

  • You hold a Masters or Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology with practice endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • You have, or are working towards, board approved supervisor status.
  • You demonstrate a passion for public health and improving the well being and quality of life of consumers.
  • You enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team.
