North Western Mental Health (NWMH) provides a comprehensive, integrated range of services to people with a serious mental illness in the North Western suburbs of Melbourne. A multi-disciplinary workforce of 1,800 staff provides services through four Area Adult Mental Health Services (North West, Mid West, Inner West and Northern), an Aged Persons’ Mental Health Program and a Youth Mental Health Service – ORYGEN Youth Health. NWMH is a clinical service of the Royoal Melbourne Hospital and operates in partnership with Northern Health and Western Health.
The Aged Persons Mental Health Program (APMHP) provides information, support and specialist mental health services to older people aged 65+ years. A multi-site mental health service that values its workforce, we strive to provide recovery oriented, compassionate and person centred care.
The Aged Psychiatry Assessment and Treatment Team (APATT) is a multidisciplinary team providing community based mental health assessment and treatment to older adults experiencing significant mental illness.
