About the opportunity

  • Oversee and coordinate the delivery of high-quality clinical care to residents
  • Lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and carers
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, including care plans, documentation, and reporting
  • Monitor and evaluate residents' health conditions, providing timely interventions and updates to families and medical teams.
  • Provide clinical leadership in the management of chronic conditions, medications, and pain management for elderly residents.
  • Promote a person-centred approach, advocating for the well-being and dignity of each individual in care.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring healthcare teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards within aged care, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Passion for driving best practices, supporting staff development, and fostering a culture of learning and improvement within the team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure seamless coordination of care services.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • NDIS Clearance OR Application and recent police check
  • Valid work rights in Australia
