<h3>Your new role</h3>
<ul>
<li>This role is the chance to join a passionate and highly skilled team</li>
<li>You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary allied health service who provide coordinated, integrated, and goal-oriented therapy to people aged 65+</li>
<li>You will have access to clinical support and development by the Grade 3 Occupational Therapist and through various professional development opportunities, including opportunities to contribute to research and quality improvement activities.</li>
</ul>
<h3>You will be responsible for</h3>
<ul>
<li>Providing evidence-based individual assessment, and management for older adults presenting with a diverse range of geriatric and/or health conditions impacting their functional abilities.</li>
<li>Working collaboratively with other disciplines to provide co-ordinated care and treatment planning, including acting as a key contact for clients as appropriate</li>
<li>Providing evidence-based group and individual interventions to people living with dementia.</li>
<li>Actively participating in professional development to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and technical skills and keep up to date with new developments and relevant trends.</li>
</ul>
<h3>To succeed in this role you will have</h3>
<ul>
<li>AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in providing high quality clinical care to older adults with cognitive and /or physical disabilities</li>
<li>An interest in working with older adults and people living with dementia</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and highly developed communication (written and verbal) skills</li>
<li>Strong organisational, planning, time management and prioritisation skills</li>
