About the role

Join one of Melbourne's largest and fastest growing Public Health services based in the western suburbs. We're seeking multiple Grade 3 Senior Social Workers/Team Leaders to form part of a positive and cohesive Senior Leadership Team. These full-time roles will see you providing expert clinical guidance and leadership to a small team of Social Workers in a hospital setting with opportunities available in Sub-Acute Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Women's & Children's Departments.

What you'll be doing

• Team leadership, staff supervision and mentoring
• Manage a small caseload of complex clients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care
• Maintain detailed client records and prepare professional reports
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of social work programs and initiatives

What we're looking for

• A recognised degree in Social Work with 6+ years of post-qualification experience
• Membership or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
• Demonstrated expertise in providing clinical social work services within a healthcare or hospital setting
• Experience providing leadership and staff supervision
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and case management skills
