About the role

In this newly created role, we are seeking a dynamic Digital Communications Specialist to support the development and delivery of our digital marketing and communication strategies. Skilled in creating and distributing high-quality digital content, the incumbent will bring to life our digital and social media strategies, craft compelling content, manage online platforms, optimise audience engagement through storytelling. This role will advance digital innovation, growth marketing, and performance optimisation. The ideal candidate is a talented digital communications specialist with a passion for digital storytelling, strategic approach to audience engagement, and the ability to leverage data-driven insights to enhance reach and impact.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Working closely with the Communications Manager, support the development and execution of the MHFAI communications plan. 
  • Coordinate MHFAI’s digital platforms, including social media, email newsletters , websites, webinar platforms, and other digital channels to maximise engagement with and support the growth of target audiences.
  • Create, edit, and proofread engaging, high-quality messaging and content tailored for diverse audiences and platforms.
  • Work to maintain and improve the online presence of MHFAI by ensuring regular content updates and optimising digital channels for user engagement.
  • Develop and execute plans for both paid and organic digital campaigns, including Google Ads, paid social, and remarketing campaigns, tailored to target audiences and align with MHFAI’s strategic priorities.
  • Track and report on digital engagement metrics, website traffic, and campaign performance to inform future digital strategies.

About you

We are looking for:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in strategic communications, digital communications and platform coordination.
  • Strong writing, editing and content development skills.
  • Successfully developed and implemented marketing and communications plans.
  • Expertise in ActiveCampaign, Canva, InDesign, and email marketing automation.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands on experience using Google Analytics and performance tracking tools.
  • Hands on experience in supporting digital campaigns, including Google Ads, paid social, and remarketing strategies.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach, with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
