About Mental Health First Aid(R) Australia:

Mental Health First Aid is a national not-for-profit organisation focused on mental health training and research. Our core work is to develop Mental Health First Aid courses, and train Instructors to deliver these courses to their communities or workplaces. Our courses are delivered across Australia and internationally.

About the role:

We have an exciting new opportunity for a talented mid-weight Graphic Designer to join our friendly and collaborative Marketing and Content team. A self-starter your skilful design and development of print and digital solutions to make our brand stand out is key. Working with our internal partners this role will contribute to and implement the brands’ style guide across all design collateral, ensuring consistent standards.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft office and social media.
  2. Formatting and updating new or existing course materials, including training manuals, handbooks, PowerPoints, certificates, and teaching notes, using Adobe Creative Suite.
  3. Translation of briefs from internal teams and conceptualise creative solutions across multiple channels and formats including digital and social media, advertising, event, and internal communications activities.
  4. Work with internal teams to create visually engaging content such as static images and infographic image.
  5. Work with internal and external stakeholders to support the development of annual campaign creative and suites of assets for use through all marketing channels.

About you:

  • Minimum 3-5 years graphic design experience.
  • A wide range of technical skills in all aspects of print and digital asset development.
  • Demonstrated experience in innovative design methods and tools in the creation and editing of print and online content.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and written skills.
  • Excellent eye for detail and ability to see the big picture for a brand.
  • Ability to work under pressure, work on multiple initiatives, be highly organised, adaptable, and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in brand, marketing communication and design.
  • Have experience in managing customer and with key stakeholder relationships.
