ABOUT the ORGANISATION

The Mental Health Professionals’ Network (MHPN) is a project funded by the Australian Government to support excellence in multidisciplinary mental healthcare.

MHPN aims to meet this purpose by:

• Connecting primary care practitioners to support improved delivery of multidisciplinary mental healthcare
• Advocating for best-practice contemporary multidisciplinary models of mental healthcare within primary care
• Supporting collaboration of all practitioners within mental healthcare to enable delivery of integrated, multidisciplinary care in a range of mental healthcare settings
• Supporting system change and policy development to improve multidisciplinary care.

MHPN aims to engage mental health and health practitioners in its two key programs: the National Networks Program and the Online Professional Development Program.

ABOUT the role

Reporting to the CEO, this role has two equally important primary responsibilities and associated deliverables. Firstly, to manage MHPN’s Communications and Marketing function to ensure it contributes to achieving the organisation’s strategic and operational objectives. And secondly, to lead activity associated with establishing and managing stakeholder and partnership relationships that are key supports and enablers of MHPN achieving its objectives.

Previous experience in the key deliverables noted in the Position Description is required.

• Part time: 30 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
• Hybrid role (2 days per week in Melbourne CBD office, with Monday as a mandatory office day)
