Micah Projects provides a range of support and advocacy services to individuals and families.
The Family Pathways Program is a service providing holistic support to families that aims to reduce a young males use of adolescent-to-parent violence towards their female protective caregiver in the home. The team focus on engaging with families through individual one-on-one sessions with the protective caregiver and the young person separately in order to build a strong foundation of trust and rapport with the families and also provide a weekly group support program.
As a Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Male Youth Advocate you will work as part of the Families Pathways Program to support young people and protective caregivers impacted by domestic and family violence to increase safety in the home and reduce the young person’s use of adolescent-to-parent violence.
This is a permanent full time employment opportunity with conditions and salary at Level 5 of the SCHADS Award.
