Micah Projects provides a range of support and advocacy services to individuals and families.
Safer Lives Mobile Service (SLMS) is funded to support women and children and or other identified victims of domestic and family violence who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to domestic and family violence. Safer Lives Mobile Service triage with women their immediate and longer-term housing needs. The Safer Lives Mobile Team works in partnership with Brisbane Domestic Violence Service and Micah Projects Housing and Homelessness Teams.
As a Specialist Domestic Violence and Housing Advocate, you will work as part of the team to provide mobile support to women and children, or other victims who are in housing crisis due to domestic and family violence to access safe affordable and appropriate emergency and long-term housing options.
This is a casual role with conditions and salary at Level 3 of the SCHADS Award. Shifts can be Monday - Sunday 4pm - 12am & 11:30pm - 7:30am Saturday & Sunday 7am - 3pm & 8:30am - 4:30pm
