About the role

A full time permanent opportunity has become available within our Yandina Transitional Housing & Support Service based in Box Hill. Our team here provides specialised support to clients with severe mental illness who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

Delivering recovery based interventions and breaking down barriers leading to homelessness, this role will see you working with clients out in the community, assisting them in accessing accommodation services and supporting mental health recovery.

You will have

• Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other health-related field as designated by Mind
• Previous experience with clients experiencing mental illness or in a similar role
• Demonstrated ability to implement a recovery oriented framework
• A positive attitude to work and strong work ethic
• Ability to build solid connections with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
