About the role

The Learning & Development (L&D) business unit aims to develop a capable, confident and collaborative workforce by integrating lived experience, practice wisdom and latest research into quality services that help people gain better mental health and improve the quality of their lives. L&D is responsible for supporting Mind’s workforce, Recovery College and Family & Carers through coordinating a comprehensive learning calendar, developing and delivering practice skills training and managing learning projects.

We are seeking a creative, high performing eLearning Developer for a permanent, part time (19 hours per week) opportunity in the Heidelberg area. With from home options, you will assist with delivery of quality workshops and course development of blended training materials including eLearning, storyboarding, virtual instructor led training (VILT), videos and multi-media platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with the L&D team to ensure delivery of consistent, quality training within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Develop blended learning products using authoring tools and multi-media hosting platforms, e.g. Adobe Captivate, iSpring, Storyline Articulate 360 and YouTube.
  • Design learning curriculums following contemporary adult learning principles including eLearning and VILT workshops, multi-media training, animated videos and face-to-face instructor led programs.
  • Support development of processes and procedures for implementation of a new Learning Management System (LMS).

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Workplace Training & Assessment or other related field.
  • Previous experience in Mental Health, Healthcare or Community Services sectors is desirable.
  • Strong abilities in graphic art, visual design, Microsoft PowerPoint, authoring tools and video editing software.
  • A creative flair and ability to design and bring storyboards to life through the use of visual storytelling and design.
  • Proven experience in course development, multi-media learning platforms, eLearning products, video creation, animations and online webinars.
