We are seeking a self-motivated, compassionate Occupational Therapist for a fixed-term, part-time opportunity to work remotely within the Allied Health team in the Melbourne metropolitan area. As a new graduate or experienced clinician, you will provide high-quality clinical assessments, flexible therapeutic interventions, diagnoses, expert consultation, and specialist services, including positive behaviour support and capacity building to clients with severe and complex mental health challenges and dual disabilities. In this role you will provide interventions in person, outreach, online or through telehealth, using strengths-based approaches to support clients to achieve recovery goals and improve their wellbeing.
The Allied Health service delivers a range of specialist supports and clinical services to help clients with complex mental health needs and dual disabilities achieve meaningful recovery outcomes. Through a multidisciplinary team, services include clinical assessments, psychological therapies, mental health counselling, NDIS planning, vocational assistance, and access to service provider networks. Support is provided via assertive outreach, telehealth, and one-to-one sessions, all within a person-centred, integrated stepped-care framework. These services empower clients, families, and carers to have choice and control over their recovery goals and services.
