Your Role:

In this interesting and satisfying role your main responsibilities include:

  • Hands on maintenance of our buildings, grounds and vehicle fleet
  • Oversighting service contracts and PPE supplies and restocking
  • Liaising with specialised tradespersons undertaking work at the facility to ensure that the work is undertaken in a safe and professional manner

Your Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Good experience in organising and undertaking hands-on repairs and maintenance on grounds, lawns and buildings and co-ordinating external contractors (when necessary)
  • A good sense of humour, empathy and a genuine commitment to supporting people with complex intellectual disabilities
  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence (Class C)
  • To be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with issues at short notice
  • Well-developed communication and inter-personal skills
  • Willingness to obtain a successful NDIS Worker Check

Job Type: Permanent part-time - flexible hours and negotiable but preferred 5 days 7.30am to 2.30pm.
