Key Responsibilities
The casual team members provide supervision assistance during contact and changeover visits for clients of Central West Contact Service. The team member will need to maintain up to date knowledge on policies and procedures around these visits and maintain full confidentiality. The successful candidate will also need to be able to remain impartial and assist in facilitating these visits. This role is also required to take notes of observations and de-brief with their supervisor on a frequent basis.

- Undergraduate Degree in Social Sciences or a Certificate four in Community Services
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience in working with families in high conflict.
- Understanding of child development and issues.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate in an authoritative manner when required.
- Demonstrated ability to self manage emotions in difficult circumstances.
- Experience in writing observational notes in a concise, neutral and accurate manner.
- Experience working with and an understanding of the needs of people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal People and /or Torres Strait Islanders, people with disabilities or other people who may face disadvantages in accessing services.
- Understanding of the impact of mental health, drug and alcohol issues and parental alienations on families.
- Current Working with Children Check Clearance.
