Moi Clinic is a specialised mental health service providing therapy for individuals from infancy to adulthood. Moi Clinic offers nine consulting rooms, two creative arts spaces and a gym with a range of toys, fine motor, gross motor, sensory experiences, games and creative art materials. We provide therapy sessions one-on-one in the clinic, at home, in the kinder, school and community. Moi Clinic offers a range of group programs including social skills programs from 3 - 10 years of age in the clinic and at schools. We also offer a group program for non-verbal children, a teen drop in group, a mechanic social skills group for adolescents, art groups and body movement groups.

Moi Clinic provides a range of assessments to the community including sensory profiles, speech assessments, autism assessments, cognitive assessments, ADHD assessments and academic assessments. We offer supervision and support to learn and conduct the assessments by an Education and Developmental Psychology Registrar with four years industry experience.

Moi Clinic is a multidisciplinary team consisting of Psychologists, Counsellors, Occupational therapists, Speech Therapists, Equine Therapists, Teachers, Mental Health Nurse and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists. We support our team to build their passion by expanding on their area of interest and building a case load they enjoy.

At Moi Clinic we value ongoing professional development and mentoring. The team attend monthly meetings and monthly professional development meetings. We provide staff with a Professional Development budget and we provide in house mentoring and supervision weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on your needs.

The opportunity:

An opportunity exists for a Psychologist and Occupational Therapist to work at our Rowville clinic. You will be providing therapy services to children and adolescents as part of a transdisciplinary team. Services are flexible offering a wide variety of experiences from on-site sessions to childcare, kinder, school and home visits. You have the flexibility to complete telehealth sessions at home.

About you:

The appropriate candidate will be passionate about their work, enjoy working as a part of a team as well as working independently. You will have previous experience working with children and adolescents. Have a love of learning and seek ways to adapt the intervention to meet the needs of clients.

  • Experience working with children and adolescents who present with trauma
  • Experience working with children and adolescents who have a disability
  • Love the possibility of providing group programs
  • Soon to be, or recent graduates are welcome to apply. We offer early years psychologists a supportive learning environment with fortnightly supervision
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and Psychology
  • Registration with the appropriate board or the means to apply for registration
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A keen learner and ability to think creatively
  • Car License
  • Working with Children’s Check - Policy Check

  • Providing a range of interventions to children and adolescents
  • Note-taking and goal writing
