We are seeking a self-driven and enthusiastic individual to join ClimateWorks Australia for a Projects Officer position. ClimateWorks Australia is dedicated to reducing emissions through the provision of effective evidence-based research and collaboration with governments, business and NGOs.
The focus of the Project Officer (Capacity Building) role will be to support ClimateWorks Australia’s work in building the capacity of key systems and individuals to take effective action to manage climate risk and reduce emissions, including through our tertiary and executive education programs.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of ClimateWorks Australia’s capacity-building projects. In this role you will:
To be successful for this position, you will have proven experience in supporting projects or program delivery, outstanding organisational skills and time management skills, strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for making a difference. Ideally, you will have a Master’s degree in a related area and/or background in translating complex information for diverse audiences.
