Explore an exciting opportunity at the Hamilton Centre, a recently established state-wide Centre for Addiction and Mental Health within Turning Point. We're seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) to take the reins in driving continuous advancement, overseeing administration and ensuring the seamless delivery of content for both online and in-person education and training in mental health and addiction.
This position is dedicated to education and training and is geared towards shaping the professional learning and engagement initiative at the Hamilton Centre. The program's vision is to pioneer a unique, structured and progressive qualifications pathway in the realm of mental health and addiction.
We're in search of an individual equipped with advanced qualifications and/or notable expertise in a pertinent field. Typically, this role demands a doctoral degree or equivalent recognition, highlighting your esteemed status. While assessing experience relative to qualifications, we consider your teaching proficiency, research insights, experiences beyond tertiary education, creative accomplishments and contributions to the field's technical and professional aspects. Additionally, this position necessitates a tangible track record of scholarly and professional accomplishments within the relevant discipline.
We are also looking for someone who can showcase their proficiency with a variety of learning technologies. This includes a demonstrated mastery of Moodle and other tools such as Rise 360/Articulate, Zoom, Panopto, h5p, polling tools, and other digital resources. Your familiarity with these platforms will be pivotal in driving educational innovation and excellence.
