The Women's Resilience Centre is a place of hope, healing and recovery for women who have experienced or witnessed domestic abuse and trauma. The Women's Resilience Centre is seeking experienced female facilitators to lead our 5-6 week online programs supporting women recovering from domestic abuse, trauma, and significant life transitions.
Funding is available for applicants who have completed or are near completion of a degree in Counselling, Adult Education, or Social Work and who are passionate about delivering trauma-informed, empowering group work, both face to face and online (with a primary emphasis on engaging, interactive online group facilitation). This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive, professional team dedicated to women’s recovery and resilience.
Successful applicants will have experience facilitating groups with women in recovery, a strong understanding of best practices in trauma-informed content delivery, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining thorough documentation. Applicants must provide references from previous employers in same or related work.
