The Men's Shed Program aims to improve men's health and wellbeing, by encouraging peer support. It is a place for men of all ages to get together and share their skills and knowledge with each other while completing woodwork, metal work, up-cycling, creative art and restoration projects. The Men's Shed incorporates an Up-Cycling program whereby goods salvaged and restored by the Men's Shed are made available for sale to the wider community.
Reporting directly to the Men's Shed Team Leader, you will work with a passionate team and support the program participants to achieve their goals, whilst ensuring their safety within work, health and safety guidelines. You will also have a focus on supporting the development of Council's Men's Shed and Up-Cycle Shop through collaboration, open communication and team work.
