Moriarty Foundation

Background

Do you love building collaborative relationships? Are you ready to help shape, and drive the Fundraising strategy for a successful, dynamic Foundation that creates equality for Indigenous children? Are you excited by stewarding our partners and bringing in funding that makes a life-changing difference in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australia?

Moriarty Foundation has delivered highly effective community-led, locally-driven programs in early learning and youth engagement through football (soccer) since 2012. Our focus is remote and regional Indigenous communities.

We have existing strong funding partnerships across government, philanthropy and corporate sectors. Our fundraising strategy has good support, and sits within our Theory of Change and 5 year organisational Strategic plan. We are looking for someone who is motivated to contribute their skills and experience to the financial sustainability of our transformational work.

Our founders and Co-Chairs are John Moriarty, a Yanyuwa NT man, business owner, and the first Indigenous footballer to be selected for Australia, and business owner/author/social investor Ros Moriarty. Moriarty Foundation is an Aboriginal Controlled Organisation (ACCO) under the Corporations Act.
