Reporting to the Team Leader Community Development this exciting position is responsible for building our community’s capacity through Council’s Community Investment Funding (grants, subsidies, sponsorships, and trusts). A strong focus of the role will be to engage local volunteer Not-For-Profit community groups to support community-led projects and initiatives as well as guide applicants through our Grants Program.
The role is directly responsible for the Team’s Flexi Grants, Community Support and Placemaking Grants as well as oversight for the implementation of successful grantee projects.
If you enjoy working with people in a supportive role and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships. You have relevant knowledge and specialist skills in community engagement, consultation, and partnerships.
