MSV is seeking to recruit a graduate financial counsellor or a student near completion of their financial counselling study to join its team supporting vulnerable Victorian homeowners in debt and at risk of losing their home and potentially becoming homeless.

Mortgage Stress Victoria (MSV) is an innovative, integrated legal practice providing free, life-changing financial counselling, legal and social work services to Victorians experiencing mortgage stress.

Reporting to the Program Manager - Financial Counselling,  you will work within the financial counselling practice and as part of the wider integrated practice team, assisting & supporting clients while having the opportunity to develop your skills and experience within an innovative practice, focused on securing positive outcomes for clients, supporting them to better manage their financial situation and feel confident to advocate for themselves in the future.  

You are committed to contributing positively to the team’s capacity, and culture. You are keen to help create opportunities that magnify MSV’s impact for clients and more broadly with stakeholders.

You will have an interest in consumer credit issues and a desire to work within an integrated practice.
