About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity currently exists within the Community Care team at Mosman Council. We are seeking an experienced bus driver with a friendly, caring and flexible attitude for ‘on call’ work. In this role you will also provide assistance with activities and programs in Community Care.

Reporting to the Community Transport Coordinator, you will have responsibility for providing safe and supportive transport for our older residents, the frail aged and those with a disability, transporting passengers to medical appointments, shopping and social outings. In this position you will provide excellent customer service and monitor the safety of clients at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience driving a range of vehicles up to a 12-seater van
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service
  • Class C Driver Licence and willingness to provide RTA driving record
  • Class LR Driver Licence and experience driving a 17-seater or larger bus is desirable
  • NSW Bus Driver Authority or willingness to attain one
  • First aid qualification or willingness to attend relevant training
  • Valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate

This position is subject to a National Police Check undertaken by Council.
