The Role

Mosman Library is recruiting for an innovative high performer to lead services in our busy Creation Space.

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the design and delivery of an inspiring range of programmes and events. These include code club, robotics and Minecraft for school children through to VR for teens and 3D and laser cut workshops for adults. We also have fully equipped sound and video studios.

The Creation Space at Mosman Library is fitted out to a high level and has been activated by our dynamic library team. All we need now is the right person to coordinate everything that happens to ensure the Mosman community continues to have amazing creative experiences.

About You

We are looking for an innovative and creative person with leadership experience.

You will have experience designing and delivering programmes and events that incorporate STEAM, creative tech, robotics, design and craft. Ideally you will have led delivery of these services in a library, education setting or innovation lab.

Your skill set will also include experience working with children and adults, as well as the ability to inspire and work collaboratively with teams across an organisation.

We want someone who knows the tech inside out, who is confident and experienced in programme delivery, and who will lead services in the Creation Space forward.

In addition to this you will also hold a valid Working with Children Check and a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate and

Tertiary qualification in library studies, education or STEAM technologies.
