Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager – Gift in Wills, this 12-month contract will drive future revenue through building and maintaining strong relationships with confirmed and intending Gift in Wills donors across Australia and New Zealand.

You will be accountable for managing relationships with a mass marketing approach to inspire and engage new donors as well as applying a high level of personalised care to develop lasting relationships with a portfolio of donors. Additional accountabilities include contributing to the development and execution of GiW strategies; reporting; stewardship; creating materials, events and communications; and estate administration.

Working closely with the Digital and Communications teams this collaborative role will also liaise externally with estate agencies.

Requirements 

As an inspiring (and aspiring!) fundraising professional, you will have a confidence when speaking with donors and enjoy developing relationships. You will be motivated by being part of a global humanitarian aid organisation and ideally can demonstrate: 

• Proven fundraising experience in either GiW or estate administration.
• Demonstrated relationship experience – focused on retention.
• Knowledge of broad fundraising and industry best practices.
• Organisational and administrative project management skills.
• Strong communication and social skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
