About the role

We are looking for an Engagement & Partnerships Manager to join our Fundraising team on a full time capacity. As the Engagement & Partnerships Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through the planning and execution of events as well as fostering relationships with corporate partners. The successful candidate will not only be able to produce successful events, but they will also be able to create partnerships to support events.

The successful applicant will be required to work independently, building relationships with key stakeholders, requiring analytical and communication skills to appropriately prioritise duties, engage and work collaboratively with the team in a proactive and positive style, and to produce results on-time with meticulous attention to detail.

Your key areas of responsibility will be to:

Income Generation:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to maximise revenue from events and partnerships.
  • Identify and secure new fundraising opportunities and sponsorships.
  • Manage budgets and financial targets for events and partnerships portfolios.

Event Management and Logistics:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of events, from small community gatherings to large-scale fundraisers.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site coordination.
  • Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Partnership Development:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute partnership proposals and agreements.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and communications teams to maximize partnership exposure and engagement.

To be successful in your application you will:

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions and demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt and make sound decisions due to last minute changes.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data metrics.

Essential requirements:

  • Proven record of accomplishment of delivering results with events and/or community fundraising activities.
  • Satisfactory Working with Children Clearance and National Police Check.
  • Motor vehicle and current South Australian driver's licence.
  • Understanding of disability is not essential, but a willingness to learn is.
  • Some out of hours work may be required for this role.
