Family House is a not-for-profit community based childcare run by Mount Barker Community Centre. Established in 1984, Family House is a Mount Barker institution that has provided quality care for children using a play-based environment. We are seeking a Director who will oversee the daily operations of the service, as well as promote positive relationships with children, families, staff and the community.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Diploma or higher in early childhood education
• Highly developed leadership skills
• Management experience in running childcare services
• A strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, childcare regulations and law, and the ratings and assessment process.
