The Consultant - Quality Improvement is a key role for Murray PHN’s North-West catchment, improving access to health services for communities in and around Millewa-Mallee.
Primarily your role makes recommendations on evidence-based, best practice and emerging rural sustainable models of care, providing leadership for health services in adopting these recommendations. This position will have a focus on enabling increased communications with and access to health services for First Nations Communities.
Our Primary Healthcare Development team builds capacity through collaboration, empowerment and leadership, fostering partnerships across diverse primary health sectors. Working with us, you’ll join an engaged and collaborative group sharing the vision of high-quality, culturally appropriate access to health services.
Accountabilities include
Your ability to lead by example and champion evidence-based practices and innovative care models will influence outcomes in primary health care across the region.
A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Health or Business is preferred, however we are interested to hear from candidates who may instead have substantial experience and skills in building cross cultural partnerships and centring First Nations health outcomes.
